Maybe you believe, like I once did, that having money is the only thing that can make you happy.  And so you wait for the money to buy those things you believe will then make you happy. You might be waiting a while…
It’s all wrong…Get happy first,  bring joy into your own life and the life of others : Abundance will follow. Change your world on the inside and your outside will mirror that change.

Give, Give and then Give some more. The more you give the more you get back. It’s not just a pretty saying; it’s fact. A Million Hugs is about getting happy, giving from the heart for no reason, spreading joy and starting a universal shift.

I choose to gift A Million Dollars to Charities because it’s a feel good thing and I love to feel good! There’s no better way to feel good than to give.  (Have we told you that yet?) I’m also gifting 5 active members $15,000 each and 1 store owner $25,000 for that very reason and because all of our members play a huge part in spreading our message around the world. We are so grateful….

2. Is this for real?

Yes! When we sold our first Million Hugs product it became very real. On the day we sell the Millionth it will be UNREAL!!!!

3. Can I earn money selling these products?

Initially we looked at an affiliate program but we wanted people to be able to make money, experience the joy of building an online business and still help our cause. We found the perfect solution and opted to give everyone a free store, where they were welcome to use our verse if they liked or create their own. Store owners mark up prices to what they like and keep all the profit. We even cover the shipping, so members can offer their customers free shipping. Every item sold in our members stores are part of our hug goal and count towards our Million. Members don’t donate any part of their profit from items sold in their store, we donate on your behalf. Although you are always welcome to do so, as all donations received fill our Huggable You requests. (((HUGS))) Down the track we are looking at an affiliate program that would benefit all of our members stores. Currently our system will record any people you personally refer and is still in development. We’ll keep you posted.

4. What if I don’t want a Store – How can I help?

You can talk about us in forums and on your blog, twitter or bookmark us on other social networks, place a banner on your website, share our videos with others, purchase a hug item for a loved one,  recommend our site to friends and family, make a donation, believe in us, believe in yourself, and most importantly BE HAPPY .

5. When are you gifting the money to Charity, Who To & How?

Part proceeds from each item sold will be set aside from the 1st October 2009 until forever. When we sell our  Millionth item, the money will be gifted to  several causes as determined by our members and visitors, who can vote on our sites polls, which will determine the moneys final % distribution. Please see THE VOTES ARE IN And how are w going to do it? Well my vision clearly saw Oprah and Ellen, I guess they just don’t know it yet.  Our next goal is 2 Million Hugs and $2,000,000!!!

Please understand this is NOT a charity site. The Million Hug verse products are my own original verse and the product on offer is a saleable item. The money is being pledged and gifted from personal earnings on the said products.

6. Can I use the poems to design my own products?

All Hug verses are my own original  © copyrighted material. Our members are given non exclusive rights  to use this verse in their A Million Hugs Free Store Only. Usage outside of our Hug community is not permitted at this time. This may change in the future.

7. Do I Earn Real Money In My Free Store & When Do I Get It?

Yes you do. Whatever amount you have marked up the base price is the amount you will receive, when your item sells. For example if the base price of a T-shirt is $14.99 and you sell it in your store for $24.99 then you will make $10. All payments are processed to our members Paypal accounts twice a month, on the 1st and 16th. The minimum amount for payment is only $25.

8. What do you do with my email?

Sell it to the highest bidder. Just joking! Seriously, nothing. We will not be spamming you with the latest greatest offers. You can keep track of the Million Hugs progress and news on twitter and the site, so we will not clog up your mail box with newsletters. Pretty boring really.

9. How long will it take to sell a Million Hugs? Can a Million Hugs products really be sold?

We really don’t know how long but there’s alot of worthy causes out there that could do with a little help, so we hope its not too long. However, how many people are in the world? How many Mums, Dads, Grandmothers, Grandfathers, Sons, Daughters, Aunties, Uncles, Sister and Friends, that would love to receive a hug gift? Everybody loves to be loved and you should never have to wait for an occasion to express your love or to reach out and reconnect. We can’t stress enough that it all starts with the act of giving.
Can a Million Hugs be sold? – absolutely and we’re hoping for many many more..
How long will it take? – Well we can’t answer that yet; but the more people who share our site, the more people who purchase a product , then the faster the energy spreads. ((Hugs))

11. What if I need help with my Store?

We suggest that members have at least some computer savvy before opening a Free Store. The stores are basic and the setup is quite simple. There are numerous templates to choose from to compliment your products. If you get stuck then drop us an email and we’ll set you on the right track.

12. I don’t want a store but I do want to create my own product to purchase?

In our Hug Store is the link “Make Your Own” . You can make your own products, with your own photo’s, images and text and purchase as normal.

13. Do I have to purchase the photo books I create?

No. You can create as many photobooks as you like and share them with family and friends. You can keep them, delete them or purchase them. Our scrapkit photobooks are simply beautiful. You would not be disappointed with your purchase.
